AWAKE, is an unsettling thriller that highlights a deeply troubling medical problem.
"Anesthetic awareness" is a rare but dangerously prevalent condition that affects nearly 30,000 individuals a year, in which patients who have been put under anesthesia before surgery remain paralyzed while still being aware of their present situation.
I catched this NC 16 film "Awake" staring the beautiful Jessica Alba.
My fren beside me said it was gross as it actually showed the process of a heart surgery.
Nevertheless, it's still a film to watch with the twists and turns if you do not mind the short duration of 85 mins.

Kind souls exists
This evening, I was on my way back in a packed train.
To the front of me was this middle aged guy.
Judging from my physical cues, he could tell that i was ready to depart the train.
He asked if i was about to drop off?
I was rather taken aback because strangers would seldom talk to another strangers.
Especially not in a packed train when there isnt much space to move around.
When the train reached tiong bahru, what surprised me most was that
he cleared and made way for me,
before asking me to proceed in that direction.
In a world where people shove each other to find space in packed trains,
there are still kind hearted souls who exists...

It seems that my first day of budgeting failed. .
$3 - Lunch
$11 - Dinner ( should have cut down more )
$1.65 - soyabean milk from 7 eleven ( waste of money )
$2 - Donation ( Well, it happens only once in a while )
$1 - Dart game at cineleisure ( worth it! )
My colleague James was telling me how important it was to save money.
And in a way, it make sense too.
How's one going to survive when he goes into army?
They literally pay u peanuts!

CSM's Nursing Room
Last fri, i stepped into my company's nursing room for the 1st time. I was helping my colleague Auntie saro with the moving of equipments from the nursing room to another room. And i was rather delighted and surprised to see that the room seemed rather "real". This is the place where the nursing students pratices health assessment. 
Just look at the equipments!
Well, the below pic is the one which i helped to set up. It's very different and and professional as compared to the real one. But well, practice makes perfect! =)
