Changing of chinese name

This is my chinese name given by my AH GONG.

I was brought to see some fortune telling in Taiwan.

Being curious, I had asked to get fortunes done.

Together with my date of birth and birth time, the master told me this name does not really get me good fortunes.

1. The last character "long" means dragon in chinese. Calculating the bi hua of my full name, i was told that this chracter carries too much responsibilty for me and i would not be able to handle it.

2. I was also told that i value family and friendship ties and tend to make friends easily. As such, i would face both 贵人 (GUI REN) & 小人 (XIAO REN). And i might face monetary losses with encounters with Xiao Ren as i'm easily influenced by others.

3. Out of the 5 elements water, wood, gold, fire, earth, i was only present with 2 elements.

There, the master suggested that i change my name to:

It still sounds the same but it looks a bit weird though.

This new name would be slighly better and would help prevent Xiao Ren from coming near me.

Despite this, the names of my 2 brothers were rather positive with my youngest brother being the best.

Its holidays!

Here are some of the things which i aim to accomplish before i leave for taiwan.

1) Master Cannon in D
2) Fill up my dusty mp3 with music and movies for my 4 hours plane flight.

Anyone who wants to get anything from taiwan, do let me know.

I'll be leaving on the 25th.

Beware of street sellers

I was reading an article on
Teenagers sell pens in the name of
CHARITY
Angry resident finds out that 'charity' had
CLOSED

some abstract:

The busniess was meant to help ex convicts by creating jobs for them.
Mr chan said he hired ex convict and those from low income families to let them earn some money legally. Many of the part timers were aged 14 to 18.

Mr chan now sells gift items at a night market, said the company was closed on 17 oct.

He claimed that many of the sellers did not return the laminated cards when he asked them to. Some of them also kept the unsold pens.

HEY WAIT!!

THIS SEEMS FAMILIAR.

I was approached by such kids on Nov 23 too!
And they sold my some useless pens for $2.
One of them told me , "Its only $2"

I was one of those who got scammed too!
I believe those kids must have pocketed the money...

Drama Mania

I've been crazy about this korean drama called Coffee Prince recently.

It's real nice!

I've just rented the 2nd drama box and it'll be due in a 3 days time.

Guess i'll be rushing through the discs these few days..

Holidays coming

Another 11 days to the breaks!
I'm looking forward to it..
My cousin would be coming back from Australia soon.

Officially 19

Clement is officially 19 from now on!

I didn't make any birthday wish this year.

Because i know that wishes dont come true.

I would rather work for it myself.

For the past few birthdays,

i've been always wanting a magical somebody to celebrate my birthday with me.

However, for this year,

I dont feel this way.

Celebrating with frens would be good enough.

And recently i've just realised i'm actually quite happy to remain single.

This is something that i would definately not be saying few years back.

I'm enjoying the freedom of being single.

No additional burdens,

No additional worries,

And not being tied down.

I guess i'm not used to doing everything together with another person at least for now.

Hey wait, i didnt get any bday cakes this year.

I had 3 last year.

Oh well, at least i had a birthday ice cream!

They call it the mud pie or something.

Was really puzzled why they called it a pie when it was actually an ice cream.
